From selling seed out of a truck with my dad to selling seed, chemicals, wood pellet grills and other agriculture items out of a warehouse with a bulk fill seed facility, my heart is in the rural way of life. After helping my father sell seed for 15 years, I started selling seed under the name S & S Ag in 1985 out of a 40 X 40 shop. My dad and I worked as partners, and as the business grew, we built another 40 X 60 building in 1993. This building warehoused seed and later a bulk fill conveyor was added to load soybean seed into wagons and trucks. We built our current 64 X 168 warehouse in 2009 and also added a bulk fill seed facility that treats and handles soybean seed to be delivered to customers. In 2016 we added another 3,000 sq. feet to our cold storage as well as an additional 80 x 144 climate controlled space to work on Precision Planting and other shop work.

"Why do we do business with S&S Ag Supply? ... Two words: bottom line. S&S Ag offers an excellent variety of products and services for our farm that help improve our bottom line, from an impressive lineup of Channel corn hybrids and soybean varieties, to competitively priced herbicides and growth regulators, as well as Precision Planting and Calmer components. Add to that the knowledge and recommendations of Steve, Joe and Ethan about where, how and what to use to maximize yields and minimize input costs. It's knowledge and expertise that comes from using the same products they are selling, as well as constantly seeking customer feedback about what's working well and what could be better. That's why we do business and value the opportunity to work with S&S Ag."

"Having S&S Ag around is a plus for our farm! They help in many ways -they sample your soil and give you the best seed and fertilizer recommendation based on the soil type. They have the chemicals that you need and if not, they try to get them as fast as they can. Having Joe on board with Steve and Ethan gives our farm the answers we need. Also, if we get into a pinch with spraying, Ethan seems to get on it right away with custom spraying. They are willing to bring the seed right to the field when you need it. Now, with them getting into precision planting, they are always there if you have problems or need answers. Ethan can even make hydraulic hoses if needed. Plus, the fact that they sell wood pellet grills is very handy too! I highly recommend them for your farming needs."
